Pulp pale conveyors and lines for mass production in paper and board mills
Tamtron’s pulp bale conveyors are widely used in paper and board mills for their pulping needs. Replacing manual lines with an automated pulp conveyor line significantly saves personnel costs. The automated dewiring machine also increases occupational safety.
Tamtron supplies robust conveyors for one-ton bales. The equipment is designed for continuous operation in the process industry. The oldest Tamtron conveyor lines have been in continuous operation for almost 30 years. The bale conveyors are designed for forklift loading or for various automated loading solutions, depending on the customer’s needs. The typical line capacity is 100 – 1000 t/d. The time interval between the loadings of conveyor system can be increased by integrated bale pile destacker. Regular maintenance, periodic inspections, and original equipment spare parts ensure efficient and safe production throughout the line’s life.
A pulp bale line can include chain and slat conveyors, crossing stations, destackers, and an automatic dewiring machine for large bales.
Specialist Konrad Vuollo demonstrates the rollers that will be delivered to Germany. The project involves converting a paper machine into a board machine. The rolls will come on a longer core conveyor measuring 10 metres.
Broke conveyors for paper and board machines
The broke conveyors feed reject paper or board into a pulper, from which the reject is re-extracted for production. Broke conveyors are installed beneath the machine, ensuring that falling rejects are transferred to the pulper and the material is returned for use. This prevents the accumulation of rejects on the machines, which could reduce their drivability.
Using an automatic broke conveyor reduces the need to stop machines by eliminating the need to remove rejects from under the machine manually. This improves work safety and saves valuable production time. At the same time, potential production stoppages and the resulting financial losses are avoided. The conveyor transports the reject board under the machine to bring it back into production. The conveyor is one of the smallest broke conveyors supplied by Tamtron.
Steel slat Conveyors
The steel slat conveyors are robust, sealed conveyors designed for feeding loose or baled broke. They are also well-suited for dosing and feeding of recycled pulp. The slat conveyors can be equipped with a continuous weighing system, which enables continuous or batch pulping of the material.
Tight conveyor slats fixed on robust conveyor chains enable the trouble-free transfer of difficult, baled, or loose broke to the pulper. The slat conveyor is also sealed on the sides. Slat conveyors are constructed so that only one conveyor is needed to handle both the horizontal and the upward conveying functions. These conveyors are typically used in applications where rubber belt conveyors cannot function.
