Tamtron Checkweighers

Checkweighers are widely used in manufacturing industries such as food and pharmaceuticals. Reliability and speed are particularly required as part of a continuous production system, as they are used to monitor the weight and quantity of the packaged product. The checkweigher must also be connected to various automation and control systems.

Tamtron’s checkweighers are type-approved automatic weighing instruments compliant with the MID 2014/32/EU Measuring Instruments Directive and are usually certified for commercial use. The balance is always equipped with a log memory if the actual weight data is used for invoicing. The logbook stores the consecutive weighing number, the time stamp and the actual weight. With this information, the accuracy of the customer’s weighing logged in the system can be verified afterwards.
