Tamtron’s new One Power scale system is the result of years of development, combined with long experience in the development of scale systems, a strong understanding of customers’ business and technical excellence. The latest addition to the One Power product family is the Tamtron Straddle Carrier Scale. With that, the new One Power is currently available for Tamtron Wheel Loader Scales, Material Handler Scales, Container Stacker Scales and Straddle Carrier Scales. In the future, the family will grow even more.
“The new system has been developed to better support customer processes. A major development is Tamtron’s modern One display, from which the entire product family has also gotten its name. In addition to features and usability as well as reliability, accuracy and durability, are absolute requirements that have not been compromised”, says Markus Ritala, Tamtron’s Director of Sales and Marketing.
ONE POWER COMBINES A USER-FRIENDLY DISPLAY WITH MODERN DATA TRANSFER FEATURES
Tamtron’s One Power scales are equipped with a One display that is even more reliable, durable and has a better user experience. “The One display has an IP 67 protection class, which protects the monitor from, for example, moisture and dirt. The display’s functionality has been tested in demanding field conditions for two years, and it has been honed to its peak in both usability and durability”, says Harri Pentinniemi, Tamtron’s Product Manager.
One Power’s state-of-the-art data transfer capabilities, 2G / 3G / 4G, WiFi and Bluetooth, together with Tamtron’s cloud services and integration capabilities, ensure that data travels in real-time. In addition to traditional printers, a wireless Bluetooth printer is available on the scale, through which it’s possible to obtain a paper document. In addition, remote support and software updates are available for the scales to ensure easy operation.
“The most important features of the new product are definitely the possibility of remote customer support, as well as the fact that software updates are brought to the scales automatically. In this way, there are no unnecessary delays in the customer’s processes and the latest functions are available to the customer quickly and easily”, says Pentinniemi.
SYSTEM PRAISED BY CUSTOMERS
The new One Power is also praised by Tamtron’s customers. Tampereen Autokuljetus Oy has been utilizing Tamtron scales for decades. The latest addition is Tamtron’s new One Power Wheel Loader Scale, which is currently in use in three of the company’s five wheel loaders. The user-friendliness and reliability of the One Power scale system in particular are praised by CEO Ilkka Mattila. Now orders, information on quantities transferred, materials and schedules can be transmitted directly to the scale and acknowledged as completed via the scale.
“Reporting speed requirements have been increasing all the time. Tamtron’s cloud services save time in particular: the information comes to the office up-to-date and we get it reported to customers just as quickly. We no longer have to do physical work – search, retrieve, compute – but we get reports from the cloud service, which can be given directly to the customer if necessary”, says Mattila.
Niilo Jalonen, CEO of Maanrakennus Jalonen Oy, also thanks the scale system: “Development has once again taken a big leap forward. The modern display functions well and can be read in different lighting conditions – the scale is also very easy and logical to use. The number one thing for us is the easy and quick exchange of the weighed variety, as the crushed materials often vary. We use four memory locations in the stock and, if necessary, more could be used.”
