This time we are speaking with Tamtron Germany’s Managing Director Günther Schuh. He explains how the company is on its way to becoming a weighing technology provider that can accommodate all customers regardless of their size. 

Tamtron Germany is well known for its advanced weighing solutions, but what makes it stand out in the industry, is the company’s commitment to customer care.

“For example, in the renewals of truck scales, we can take care of all supplementary work upon request – including the dismantling and disposing of the old scales. What is even better, is that when all communication flows through one partner, the cooperation can potentially result in enormous savings for the customer”, Schuh says.

Additionally, with its long tradition in the country and extensive background in the weighing industry, Tamtron Germany’s roots from 1864 bring with them extensive knowledge in mechanical weighing that can have surprisingly direct benefits.

“This transferred knowledge is now very sought after as some mechanical scales from the last century are in fact still used in legal-for-trade business, but not many companies have the skills to repair them.”

Tamtron Germany became part of the Tamtron Group in 2013. The company has since strengthened its position in the weighing industry and its market position has become unfailing. Being part of the international network of sister units in other European countries has enabled varied positive effects.
